Company Deploys DNS Signer and DNS Authority to Increase Security and Resiliency

DENVER, CO – March 24, 2009 – Secure64 Software Corporation announced today that Qwest Communications, Inc. is quickly implementing the company’s Secure64 DNS Signer and Secure64 DNS Authority products to increase security of its Internet infrastructure, including DNS services.  The Domain Name System (DNS) is responsible for translating host names to IP addresses (and vice versa) and is critical for the normal operation of internet-connected systems.

Qwest is the choice of 95 percent of Fortune 500 companies, offering a full suite of network, data and voice services for business customers and government agencies.  Additionally, Qwest participates in Networx, the largest government communications services contract in the world.  The Qwest network covers the continental United States with one of the largest fiber footprints capable of supporting 40Gbps data transmission rates.
