SECURE64 NAMED FINALIST FOR 2011 MISSION-CRITICAL INNOVATION AWARD

Awards Presented by HP and Intel Recognize Groundbreaking Solutions for
Mission-Critical Computing

DENVER, CO – November 23, 2011 – Secure64 Software Corporation has been named a finalist in the Best New Application category for the 2011 Mission-Critical Innovations Awards presented by HP and Intel. Finalists in each category have been selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of widely-respected IT professionals from around the world.

The Best New Application award recognizes solutions that have a significant impact on global computing systems while also supporting open computing, convergence, security, scalability and other valuable attributes. The award also recognizes solutions that are modernizing mission-critical computing environments with the innovative use of technology such as Itanium-based systems, Xeon-based servers or blade servers.
Secure64 was nominated for the Best New Application Award for its Secure64 DNS Cache product, a DNS caching software appliance providing the highest level of security, Denial of Service (DDoS) resistance and performance for communication and cloud service providers and ecommerce. Secure64 provides a high-performance supported alternative to BIND DNS software that reduces the risk from unsupported open source technology or closed proprietary technology. Last week’s patch of a critical vulnerability in BIND with active exploits in the wild highlights the need for “genetic diversity” in DNS to ensure resiliency in the face of attacks. Secure64 partners with HP and their alliance partners to deliver a supported solution worldwide.
“It is a tremendous honor to be selected as one of the three finalists in our category out of scores of solutions the judges evaluated for these awards,” said Steve Goodbarn, CEO of Secure64. “Secure64 DNS Cache fills a critical void for DNS infrastructure, which is mission critical for all Internet based communication. Our solution solves vulnerability issues that have made DNS servers favorite targets of hackers and criminals for DDoS attacks and other security breaches. Secure64 DNS Cache accomplishes that while also lowering both hard and soft costs for those responsible for managing and protecting DNS infrastructure.”
The 2011 Mission-Critical Innovations Awards will be given on November 28 at the HP 2011 EMEA Strategic Alliance Partner Summit in Vienna, Austria. For information about the awards, please visit: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/mission_critical/awards/index.html.
