Secure64, increasingly present in Latin America

Secure64 is a global brand of DNS solutions, secure access management for all types of networks – enterprise, government entities, education, and more. It operates in Latin America mainly through telcos, ISPs, and other network operators, reaching a wide variety of end users. To achieve this, it works with strategic partners such as Biwares (Argentina), which promotes the brand throughout the region and particularly in the south. The company is about to announce a major agreement with a Tier-1 corporate carrier.

Ian Sampson, CRO of Secure64, has been touring Latin America together with regional manager Manuel Soto. Sampson notes: ‘As the digital era moves forward and companies operate with increasingly geographically distributed structures, solutions like ours become essential. They establish access policies so that members of the company or institution – depending on their roles – can access progressive levels of applications, while at the same time preventing them from using the network to access improper or unauthorized sites.’

Secure64’s technology includes software and hardware with authoritative and recursive DNS servers, as well as platforms for defense against DDoS attacks. The company focuses on creating a safer internet infrastructure through products that automate the implementation of DNSSEC, protect against attacks, and enable the transition to IPv6.

Sampson continues: ‘Compared to other solutions in the market, Secure64’s stands out for three pillars: speed – we are much faster in handling access and verification processes; universality – since we operate with all kinds of platforms; and a key factor, user-friendliness – so that even untrained personnel can operate it. These three factors together allow us to have more than 2 billion users worldwide.’

Solutions: Secure64 DNS Authority and Secure64 DNS Cache, to protect queries and domain name servers; defense against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and other network threats, ensuring service availability; platforms available in the cloud and on networks; Secure64 has fully automated the implementation of DNSSEC to protect the integrity of DNS; and infrastructure solutions for SPs to build a safer internet, including the migration to IPv6.

Sampson concludes: ‘Among the new developments ahead, we are adding more and more artificial-intelligence tools; solutions are increasingly “as a service” in the cloud; there are full IoT developments to protect all products that are now becoming connected. The market is evolving quickly, and we always aim to stay at the forefront. We will continue this way.’
