Secure64 Announces Leadership Transition

Fort Collins, CO – September 12, 2019 – Secure64, the leading provider of Security-as-a-Service DNS solutions, today announced that Steve Goodbarn, Co-founder and Chairman, will assume the additional title of Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Thad Dupper, who will transition to an advisory role with the Board focused on strategic alternatives.

Thad Dupper said, “I am very pleased with the progress Secure64 has posted over the past two years. Our customer base, in terms of the number of subscribers who rely on our DNS platform, has grown over 130%, now eclipsing 1 billion. In addition, we have added 10 new customers, grown a record order backlog, and have made very good progress migrating to a recurring revenue subscription model. I congratulate the entire Secure64 team for this success. Taking these progress points into consideration, the timing was right to undertake this transition. Steve will take over a high-performing operation with strong momentum and I am enthused about Secure64’s future. Looking forward, I will focus on strategic options for the Company.”

“We are grateful to Thad for his stewardship of the Company and we are appreciative of his commitment to continue to advise the Board,” said Steve Goodbarn, Co-founder and Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. “Today six of the top fifteen operators and eleven of the top thirty carriers rely on Secure64’s DNS. They have placed this trust in Secure64 because of our people — namely our technologists, sales, marketing, support and leadership team. I look forward to leading Secure64 as we enter this next chapter of our growth.”
