Leading Algerian Mobile Operator Selects Secure64® DNS Cache
Greenwood Village, CO – November 16th, 2016 – Secure64, the leading provider of Genuinely Secure DNS servers today announced that a leading Algerian Mobile Operator has selected Secure64 DNS Cache for x86 for their network infrastructure. The company currently offers 2G, 3G and 4G services.
“This mobile operator was looking to drive flexibility and cost savings, while keeping their DNS servers secure, and subscribers and their devices safe,” said Mark Beckett, VP of Products and Marketing, Secure64. “Secure64 DNS Cache provides built-in DDoS protection as well as a secure operating system, negating the need for additional security devices to protect the DNS. This leads to an always available but highly cost-effective network.”
DNS security is a primary concern of wireless providers, given the dramatic increase in denial of service attacks, punctuated by the massive DDOS attack against DNS provider Dyn. That attack used the Internet of Things (IoT) in a massive botnet and security experts expect more and potentially larger attacks in the future as the IOT grows.
