The Secure64 management team consists of leaders from the technology and telecom industries. Secure64 is a privately held software company headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Steve Goodbarn
Chief Executive Officer
Steve previously served as Chief Executive Officer for Secure64 from 2005-2016 and during his tenure the company developed its line of highly secure DNS products now running on every continent. Prior to co-founding Secure64, Steve was Vice President of Finance, CFO and an Executive Committee member at Janus Capital Corporation from 1992 to 2000. During his tenure, Janus grew assets under management from $10 billion to more than $330 billion and operations expanded internationally. Prior to joining Janus, he was with Price Waterhouse. Steve was a member of the board of directors of Dish Network (NASDAQ: DISH) from 2002 until May 2018, of EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) from 2007-2008 and of MobiTV.
Brian Sloat
Chief Operating Officer
Brian has direct management responsibility for Secure64’s operations including client-facing activities covering Sales, Support, Marketing, Professional Services and Software Development. In this role, he works across internal, channel, and business partner teams to align the solution portfolio with current and future-state customer requirements. Brian’s technology and cyber security background includes roles with: Neustar – Senior Director of Professional Services and Security Solutions, RE/MAX – Director of IT, and Invesco/Aim – Senior Manager of Networking and System Administration.
Kim Zimmermann
Vice President, Finance
As the company’s VP of Finance, Kim has global responsibility for all financial planning, accounting, tax auditing and procurement. She has more than 25 years of finance, operations and administration experience, and held previous roles at Skyway Cellular, SysKonnect and Solution Partners. Kim has a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
John Worley
Chief Technical Officer
John is Chief Technical Officer for Secure64, and is responsible for overseeing the technical development of our DNS products. An expert in computer engineering, management, and project development; John is the architect of Secure64’s proprietary SourceT® operating system. Prior to Secure64, John held a variety of technical positions at HP and Adobe Systems as well as several startups. John holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science from UCLA.
Spencer Worley
Vice President, Engineering
Spencer heads the Engineering team for Secure64, managing the development and updating of our DNS products. He has over 20 years of experience building and leading teams that have developed state of the art products, including Amazon, where he managed the development of the Amazon Echo, and individually filed more than 40 patents on virtual reality, augmented reality, audio voice capture. He was also VP of Engineering at Sphero, leading the team that developed the BB8, SPRK+, and the Force Band.
David Roth
Chief Architect
David directs and provides project management for the engineering team at Secure64.
Mark Beckett
Vice President, Strategic Solutions
Mark develops and executes product strategy and customer-facing marketing programs at Secure64. He has more than 23 years of experience in product marketing, business development and software engineering, Mark was previously Executive Vice President of Marketing for ChipData, a provider of electronic design automation software. At ChipData, he was instrumental in transforming the company from a service to a product company by launching a portfolio of award winning products that attracted over 20 Fortune 500 accounts within 12 months. He has served in technical, marketing and business development roles for a variety of software and online publishing companies. Mark holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Ian Sampson
Chief Marketing Officer
Ian Sampson is Secure64’s CMO, leading the company’s marketing efforts. Ian is a security-driven executive whose 20-plus-year career has been focused on working with teams and customers to deliver the solutions required to drive forward projects and opportunities. Ian brings drive and creativity to Secure64 and thrives in new challenges. In previous roles, Ian has developed and positioned security and personalization products across a number of different technology areas critically all focused on improving the customer experience and increasing revenues. With an engineering background, Ian has been involved in and deployed large-scale carrier networks as well as carrier parental controls solutions and security solutions across the globe. These are in place today protecting millions of subscribers every day. Ian is passionate about developing new solutions to create and drive forward customers’ business and market adoption.
Paul Winbauer
Channel Account Manager
Paul has joined Secure64 as a Channel Account Manager. Paul has been in the industry working with Channel Partners for over 30 years with the HPE, Brocade Communications and Avnet working jointly on key Alliance Management, Channel Development and Partner Management. Paul will be working with the Secure64 teams and channel partners to continue to grow and develop our channel and key partner relationships.
